Live Lawrence! Kicks Off Fourth Season

LAWRENCE, MA July 11, 2009– Live Lawrence!, is kicking off it’s free evening concerts at Lawrence Heritage State Park, One Jackson Street, Lawrence, MA.  The Lost Soul will be the featured musical band for the July 16th event.  The diverse and spirited group specializes in Rhythm & Blues, Soul and Motown sounds.  They play throughout the New England area.  Free concerts are presented every Wednesday on Appleton Way at the Farmers’ Market in Lawrence.    

This Thursday’s event is from 5-8 PM and will have food catered by the Clock Tower Café for sale. Food available includes polled pork and chicken as well as pasta salad, corn on the cob, and beverages.

Live Lawrence!, a citywide partnership designed to draw attention to local arts and culture, and stimulate economic growth in Lawrence.  The partners in Live Lawrence! are: City of Lawrence Community Development, Cambridge College, Northern Essex Community College, Lawrence Heritage State Park, Essex Art Center, Groundwork Lawrence, Lawrence Community Works and the Lawrence History Center. Live Lawrence! is made possible by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and additional donations.
