"Lawrence 1912: The Bread and Roses Strike" (1977), by Ralph Fasanella. A depiction of scenes from the great Lawrence textile strike of 1912, by a popular American artist, it is probably the most famous image of American labor history. It is on permanent display at Lawrence Heritage State Park Visitor Center.

Live Lawrence is an arts and culture initiative designed to encourage economic impact on local business by building on Lawrence's rich cultural assets. The initiative is a public/private collaborative of City Government and nonprofit organizations including, City of Lawrence, Cambridge College (Lawrence Regional Center), Essex Art Center, Groundwork Lawrence, Lawrence Heritage State Park, Lawrence History Center, Lawrence CommunityWorks and Northern Essex Community College.
